애플의 smartThermostat 홈킷 에코비(ecobee) 한국 출시 임박?

2021.02.08 애플의 디자인권 5건이 등록되었습니다.

애플은 디자인 등록 후 약 1년 정도 뒤에 제품이 출시되는 경향이 있는 것 같아서 2021년 후반기 또는 2022년 상반기 출시 예상됩니다.

 

 

 

GUI가 표시된 디스플레이패널에 대한 화상디자인으로 등록받았습니다.

보기에는 아이폰에서 사용되는 어플의 디자인을 나타낸 것으로 보이며, 조명과 온도 조절에 관한 것으로 보입니다.

 

구글링 해보니 애플 홈킷 에코비(ecobee) 인것으로 보이네요.

등록디자인과 아래 9TO5Mac의 리뷰에 나온 어플이 같습니다.

ecobee의 강점은 iOS뿐 아니라 안드로이드, 삼성 smartThings 등 다른 어플과 호환되는 점입니다.

삼성폰 사용자도 ecobee 사용이 가능하네요.

 

현재 미국에서는 ecobee4가 $249.99에 판매 중인데 한국 출시가격은 얼마가 될지 궁금하네요.

애플의 가격 정책을 생각할 때 저렴하지는 않을 것 같습니다.

 

 

삼성 제품은 smartThings로 에어컨, 공기청정기 등 거의 대부분의 전자제품 제어가 가능한데

과연 ecobee가 어떤 점에서 유리할지는 잘 모르겠습니다.
